APP Protect NeuquénThe government of the province of Neuquén makes available to citizens a technological tool developed jointly between the provincial office of information and communication technologies OPTIC and the Provincial Directorate of Protected Natural Areas and Faunistic Resources, with the premise of bringing services and transportability of fishing permits digitally and enable citizen oversight on issues of protection of biodiversity throughout the provincial territory.On the other hand, and in line with the work that is carried out in terms of technical/institutional strengthening of the fire management system, taking into account the dynamics of the high temperatures of the summer season, this tool will allow citizens to alert through the APP of fire sources directly, triggering the necessary actions to mitigate and/or extinguish these situations.
Undoubtedly, this tool will complement SATIF-Nqns “Forest Fire Early Warning System for Neuquén” which is up and running and operating in its first stage.I protect Neuquén, is an App that can be downloaded from the Neuquen.gov.ar website or from the Playstore to mobile phones.
This will allow the citizen to digitally transport their fishing permit, and make alerts and/or complaints about situations that they identify associated with Fauna and Environment in the provincial territory, complaints that can be generated through text, audio, photography and video.
being these referenced by automatic coordinates or positioned on Google Maps.These complaints will be transmitted instantly if there is data coverage in the referenced place or if they are stored on the citizens device and will be transmitted when Wi-Fi coverage is achieved.The complaint/alert will be received at a control and monitoring center, evaluated by personnel from the wildlife area, triggering the necessary actions to address said alert.
This control center will be in direct and permanent contact with other areas of responsibility such as the Prosecutors Office for Environmental Crimes, the Provincial Fire Management System, the Environment, Civil Defense, and the Police.Once the alert is received and managed by the control and monitoring center, the citizen will receive a ticket number on their complaint to be able to follow up on it later.We know the commitment of citizens with our natural environments, with our biodiversity, with our tourist resources.
Protejo Neuquén will fulfill an auxiliary function so that those who feel the need to share and collaborate with its supervisory gaze, at a certain time and place, can quickly inform and be part of the custody of our natural assets.
